Students engaged in boat trips, field trips, workshops, and labs to learn firsthand about the science of life in our oceans and rainforests. Located on the West Coast of Vancouver Island at the end of Alberni Inlet the world-famous facility is jointly owned and run by UBC, UVic, SFU, U of C, and U of A. The BMSC runs research programs, university classes, and high school workshops.
