SHS NEWS & EVENTS
Shorewood High School Drama Presents - The Addams Family
SHOREWOOD DRAMA is thrilled to announce our 2025-2026 season! First up, and just in time for Halloween, we will present The Addams Family! It follows the adventures and mis-adventures of the eponymous family, as they come into contact with the Beinekes, a decidedly more conventional family. This opens them up to the wider, slightly less peculiar world in ways that are at once hilarious and poignant. Addams Family is a fun, silly, swinging, surprisingly heart-felt, and family-friendly homage to...well, families, strange and otherwise!
ADDAMS FAMILY runs October 23rd-25th @ 7PM, and October 25th @ 2PM. Tickets are $5 for Students & Seniors, $20 for Adults and can be purchased through the link below! Don't miss out on this spooky-silly send-up of the legendary Addams Family!
AP Classes - AP Testing
Juniors and Seniors in AP Testing:
This is your second to last reminder that all AP tests must be paid by Friday, October 31st at 11:59 AM. Pay for each test at this website:
https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/502112
Should you not pay on the 31st, you will be charged a $40 late fee (per test) for any test you want to take after the deadline has passed (i.e. each test would cost $145). In addition, should you drop a test after the 31st, you would be assigned a $40 cancellation fee.
For all the ins and outs of AP testing and payment registration, please review this handout. See Mr. Brown with any questions.
PLEASE! LOCK UP YOUR BIKES!
Anytime you ride your bike to school, please take the time to LOCK. IT. UP. We want to make sure your bike makes it home with you. So please, lock it up!
Hello Seniors!
Over the summer a big packet of information went out to your parents with an upload link for your senior portrait, but I also wanted to make sure you had the link as well. If you have your portrait selected and ready to go, please use this link to upload your photo. If you are experiencing difficulty uploading, you can email it to me as well.
As a reminder, your portrait needs to be submitted as a VERTICAL portrait, not horizontal, not square. It is also best if you upload a high resolution copy of your photo from your computer, photo quality gets compressed when they get emailed and put on your phone. Please do not upload a screenshot of your senior photo, that will result in a pixelated image in the yearbook.
Also, don't forget to send us your senior quote, that link can be found here.
Thanks,
Ms. Dickman and the Copperdome Staff

Shorewood Connects Fall Yard Cleanup 2025
Please join us for Shorewood's 18th Annual Fall Yard Clean Up. The event will take place on Saturday, November 1, from 9am-12pm. It is a great way to give back to the Shorewood community by assisting with light yard work for elderly or disabled neighbors. Sign up alone, with your family, with your neighbors or with friends.
No job takes more than 3 hours. Added perks include a donut, a free t-shirt and a Culver’s coupon. It's also a great opportunity for National Honor Society students to earn volunteer hours.
Sign up here. Reach out to Becca Pipkorn at Shorewoodcleansup@gmail.com with any questions
Help Shape Next Year’s School Calendar
We're inviting Shorewood families and staff to have a voice at the table as we plan next year's school calendar. The Instructional Calendar Committee looks at important pieces like instructional time, professional development days, and breaks, while also keeping in mind what works best for families.
The committee will meet Tuesday, October 21, November 4, and Thursday, November 13 at 5:30 p.m. in the Shorewood High School Library Media Center-North.
If you'd like to be part of this conversation, please fill out this interest form.
We look forward to seeing you there!
