500K Word Count Donut Breakfast

Those students who reached 500,000 words in Accelerated Reader for 2nd Quarter will be rewarded with donuts and juice in the media center on Friday, January 22nd, from 7:45 - 8:15 in the media center. We have 62 students who qualified!

Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair will be in the media center and open for business beginning Friday, Jan. 29, and ending Friday, Feb. 5. The hours will be 7:40-1:30 each day. You can even shop online! The fair will have exciting new books for kids and adults, posters, stationery items, and more! This is an important fundraiser for the media center. We hope you'll come out and shop with us--and help us celebrate the last book fair to be held in this building! Click here for more details: http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/clovermiddleschool2

Book Swap

On Friday, February 26th, students will be invited to bring up to five (5) gently-used books (middle-school appropriate) from home to swap for "new" books! The swap will be all day in the media center, so students can come whenever it suits their schedule.

That’s all according to this excellent infographic put together by Raphael Lysander.Take a moment to read through the graphic - after all, it’s good for you!"
