Dismissal and Pick-ups!
End of Day Dismissal and Pick-Ups.
We are having some confusion at the end of day due to parents walking in to pick up students close to dismissal. Due to this, we wanted to send out a few reminders about our dismissal policies.
Changes in Transportation
If you would like your child to be a car rider for the day, you need to call the front office by 2:00 to request the change in transportation. This gives us time to communicate the change to the teacher. Our office number is 317-789-3300.
Car Rider Line
If you are picking your child up at the end of the day, you need to wait in the car rider line.
We understand that there might occasionally be an appointment or a different reason why you need to come in and grab your student close to dismissal, but this should not be an everyday occurrence.
Again, these policies are in place to avoid confusion at dismissal time and ensure our learning environment is not disrupted. We appreciate your help!

Salida y recogida al final de la jornada escolar .
Estamos experimentando cierta confusión al final del día debido a que algunos padres llegan a recoger a sus hijos poco antes de la hora de salida. Por este motivo, queríamos enviarles algunos recordatorios sobre nuestras normas de salida.
Cambios en el transporte
Si desea que su hijo/a sea recogido/a en coche durante el día, debe llamar a la oficina antes de las 14:00 para solicitar el cambio de transporte. Esto nos da tiempo para comunicar el cambio al profesor/a. Nuestro número de teléfono es 317-789-3300.
Línea de pasajeros en coche
Si va a recoger a su hijo al final del día, deberá esperar en la fila de vehículos autorizados.
Entendemos que ocasionalmente pueda haber una cita o algún otro motivo por el que necesite venir a recoger a su hijo/a cerca de la hora de salida, pero esto no debería ser algo que ocurra todos los días.
Estas normas tienen como objetivo evitar confusiones a la hora de salida y garantizar que nuestro entorno de aprendizaje no se vea interrumpido. ¡Agradecemos su colaboración!

1st Grade Field Trip!
1st graders had a great time today on their field trip to Kelsay Farm!
Special Edition EAN Broadcast!
Miss Ali worked with students in Mrs. Herwehe’s class to create a special edition EAN broadcast for today!
These 2nd graders worked as a team just like our 5th grade news anchors do to make today’s announcements. Miss Ali was an EAN anchor back when she was in 5th grade at SES. We think both the students and their teacher did a great job.
Meteorologist Ryan Morse!
Thank you to Meteorologist Ryan Morse for coming to SES today! He spoke to our 3rd graders about what meteorologists do each day, and all of the different types of weather we have in Indiana. Be sure to watch RTV6 this afternoon to see some pictures from his visit on the news!
