Greenfield Elementary Gator Bite

Happy Friday! What a busy week! With lots of Halloween festivities and celebrating our A school rating we definitely stayed busy! Please check out all the fliers below including how we will celebrate our brave Veterans. We hope you have a great weekend!

SHOUTOUT ALERT!!

I am so proud to officially announce that Greenfield Elementary received an A school letter grade for the 23/24 school year! This is a huge achievement and something you all should be so proud of. Additionally, I would like you to know that out of 1,368 K-8 schools, Greenfield was ranked number 30! That's INCREDIBLE! Congratulations!

I sent a nice message to Ms. Oster to let her know this work was done under her leadership and to make sure she knew that this letter grade was earned from the hard work of you all and leadership from her and Katrina.

I am beyond excited and hopeful to continue this amazing work and lead our school to not only another A but to be the top school in the district. We have one school in front of us and as you all know…. I'm competitive… We will do what we can to make some amazing strides and get that top spot. I do however know that it's not all about the letter grade. The work you do and the LOVE you give your students each day means just as much as a letter grade. We will continue to maintain and grow our positive culture and work towards the new goals we set out to create. Again, I am so proud of you all and cannot wait to see what we can accomplish this year and beyond!

P.S. Thank you to our students and parents we could not make these accomplishments without you!

A HUGE thank you to all the families who joined us for our Halloween Parade! Our Gators all looked AMAZING in their costumes! Check out the link below to see some fun highlights from the parade!

We are going to have our Veterans Day Flag Raising Ceremony on Friday, November 8 from 8:20 - 8:50 am in front of the school. Parents are welcome!

We had some guest Gator Greeters this morning! They wanted to give a wave and smile to help our Gators get today off to a great start after all the Halloween festivities last night! Thanks for the extra cheer this morning team.

Just a friendly reminder regarding drop-off and pick-up: please follow the flow of traffic and respect the signs! Remember, our school zone isn’t the place for a game of Frogger! Thanks for being awesome and helping us keep our kids safe!

6th grade parents:

If your child turns 12 while in sixth grade he/she needs to be vaccinated for Tdap and Meningitis or come in and fill out a personal exemption form. This is a REQUIREMENT for the state. The school will allow two weeks to bring in the records or your child will not be able to attend school. Please bring in your child's shot record.

The cases of walking pneumonia are increasing across the state . Symptoms are fever, bad cough and sore throat. There are no known cases in school right now. Just an FYI.

Going around the Health Office:

Stomach Flu

Strep Throat

Pink Eye

The kids had so much fun during the Halloween parade!

Happy weekend
