Sara's Coaching Corner
January 2025
Start 2025 with Clarity and Confidence
As we step into 2025, it’s the perfect time to reflect on your goals and take bold steps toward the life you envision. Whether you’re aiming for financial independence, more control over your schedule, or the fulfillment that comes from pursuing your dreams, the start of a new year is an ideal moment to evaluate what’s truly holding you back. This year, I’m dedicating my newsletter to addressing the most common objections and fears I hear from clients considering business ownership. My goal is to help you think differently, challenge assumptions, and see the possibilities that lie beyond the doubts. Together, we’ll explore the obstacles that stand in the way and uncover solutions that align with your vision for 2025. Let’s make this the year you take a leap toward your You 2.0!
All my best!
Sara

Business Ownership Objection #1: I Got a Job Offer
When someone receives a job offer, it often feels like the universe is pointing them back to the safety and security of traditional employment. After all, the prospect of a steady paycheck, benefits, and a familiar routine can be incredibly tempting—especially when considering the leap into business ownership. However, it’s crucial to ask yourself: is this job offer a step toward achieving your ultimate goals, OR is it merely a short-term solution that delays your aspirations?
The number one reason laid-off clients end their coaching journey is because they accept a job offer. While this decision might feel like the most immediate and logical solution, many of those same clients return months later when the job doesn’t work out or fails to meet their expectations. By then, they’ve wasted precious time—time that could have been spent building and ramping up their business. Instead of being well on their way to achieving their entrepreneurial goals, they’re starting over, often realizing too late the opportunity costs of delaying their dreams.
It’s essential to remember that traditional jobs don’t offer guarantees. Layoffs, company restructuring, or shifting priorities can disrupt even the most promising roles. What feels like the safer choice now could ultimately lead to greater instability in the long term. On the other hand, business ownership puts you in control, offering a path to true independence, financial growth, and personal fulfillment. Weighing the short-term benefits of a job against the long-term opportunity costs is a critical step in making an informed decision.
Before making the decision to accept a job offer and end your coaching journey, you owe it to yourself to evaluate all your options thoroughly. You’ve already invested time and effort into exploring entrepreneurship, so take the opportunity to reflect. Maybe the job is the right path for now, maybe a business is the better choice, or perhaps there’s even a way to pursue both. Whatever the answer, it’s worth exploring fully to ensure the decision aligns with your goals and the future you envision for yourself. Let’s discuss your options and create a plan that works for you!
