KHES Monday Memo
October 28, 2024
Hello, King's Highway Families,
Welcome to another great week at KHS! Join us tonight at 6:00 PM for our October PTO meeting in the cafeteria or online at the link below. This month, we welcomed two new members to the King's Highway Team—welcome Ms. Veronika Lynch and Ms. Wendy Michalski.
Ms. Veronika joined the KH team as our new restorative coach. As a member of the student support team, she will work with individuals, small groups, and classrooms.
Ms. Michalski joins us as our ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher, working with multilingual students.
Regular daily school attendance is crucial to student success. We love to see our students here every day, but if students are absent, please contact Ms. Ferguson, attendance secretary - fergusond@casdschools.org
October PTO Meeting - TONIGHT at 6:00 in the Cafeteria or on Zoom at the link below
OPEN NOW - November 11th
It's time to show some school spirit with our King's Highway Spirit Wear! The online store is open NOW through November 11th. Each clothing item can be custom orders with one of three King's Highway or Coatesville designs.
Orders are due by 11/11/24, and there is no option for late orders.
Place your order TODAY!
PBIS Volunteers Needed
We could use a little help. Our school-wide PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) program is a system where students are recognized for showing PRIDE. The Leo Cart is a mobile treasure chest that roams the hallways to pop in and reward students. We would love to have a few parent volunteers help out with the Leo Cart. Spend the day with the Leo Cart or maybe just one grade.
Volunteers need to have clearances on file with the King's Highway main office. Please see the attached letter (below).
October Shining Star Awards
Congratulations to all of our October Shining Star Awards winners! Students are awarded the Shining Star award for demonstrating excellence and PRIDE - we are SO PROUD!
