Fall into MTSS!

Fall Screeners and Student Support
Hello, Lindenwold School Community!
My name is Desiree Nuhn, and I am the Supervisor of Academic Interventions. This Fall, students will take short literacy and math screeners to show us where they are in relation to grade level.
Results help us match each student with the right level of support, called tiers:
Tier 1: Quality classroom instruction for all students.
Tier 2: Small-group instruction for students who need extra practice.
Tier 3: Intensive, individualized support for students who need the most help.
Students receiving tiered services will work with our amazing team of interventionists and ML teachers here at Lindenwold. Students can move between tiers as they grow, and families will be kept informed.
Thank you for your partnership!

Fall into Multilingual Professional Development!
Hello Lindenwold!
My name is Jennifer Bastedo, and I am the Supervisor of Multilingual Education and World Languages. This fall, our Elementary Teachers and both of our ML Instructional Coaches had the opportunity to work with our Llamame Consultants, Julie Ochoa and Dr. JoAnne Negrin.
Teachers and ML Instructional Coaches learned about best practices for supporting all students, and then implemented these practices in the classroom.
Sheltered English Instruction (SEI) Walkthrough Data helped us to identify these best practices in action, and to determine our instructional glows and grows at the elementary level. This information is now guiding our Professional Development Planning as well as our Student Growth Objectives.
Our Secondary Sheltered English Instruction (SEI) Professional Development Cohort, which will be led by Dr. Brooke Hoffman, will launch soon!
