Urgent Enrollment Notice – Act Now!
As you know, Shaw and Flynn are combining to form the new Upland Discovery Campus. Because spots will be limited, it is critical that you enroll your student as soon as possible. Enrollment closes after March 7th, and we cannot guarantee placement after that date.
If you need your username or password to complete registration, call the office or email us immediately. Don’t wait—secure your student’s spot today!

The process for an in-district returning family
- Going to the Westminster Public Schools website.
- Clicking on the "ENROLL" menu and then "Register Now."
- Selecting the "IN DISTRICT REGISTRATION" button.
- Clicking the yellow "REGISTER NOW FOR IN-DISTRICT RETURNING FAMILIES" button under the "Welcome back WPS families!" message.
- Logging into your Infinite Campus Parent account using the username and password given at the beginning of the year.
- Clicking the "Menu" button (which has the Infinite Campus logo).
- Selecting the "Online Registration" option.
- Reviewing the application and looking for the "COMPLETE" button to confirm it is finished.

As we wrap up the month of February at Shaw Heights Middle School, we are proud to share what a positive and productive month it has been for our students and staff. Classrooms have been filled with meaningful learning, growth, and great accomplishments. Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students each day.
We ended February with successful Parent-Teacher Conferences. We truly appreciate all families who attended and connected with teachers. These conversations are an important part of student success, and we are grateful for the strong collaboration between home and school.
We also hosted our Open House Enrollment event to support families with registration for next school year. Thank you to everyone who participated and secured a spot for their student.
🔔 Important Enrollment Update for 2026–2027
Beginning next school year, Upland Discovery Campus will be the new campus as Shaw Heights l and Flynn merge together as one school community.
All enrollment for the upcoming school year will now be for Upland Discovery Campus. We are excited about this new chapter and the opportunities it will bring for our students and families. More information and updates will continue to be shared as we move forward in this transition.
📝 Looking Ahead to April – CMAS
As we move into March, our focus will remain on strong instruction and preparing students for CMAS (Colorado Measures of Academic Success) testing, which will take place in April. Teachers will continue reviewing key skills and helping students feel confident and prepared.
Families can support students by:
Encouraging daily attendance
Ensuring students get plenty of rest
Providing a healthy breakfast
Offering positive encouragement

Frankie was out today visiting our 6th grade classes! It was a fun day full of learning and excitement as Frankie got to see all the amazing things our students are working on.
