The Wayne-Westland Wrap Up- December 19, 2025
Dear Wayne-Westland Families,
As we approach the holiday season, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support of our schools. This time of year is a wonderful reminder of the strength of our community — a community that consistently comes together to support our students, staff, and one another.
Our schools are special places because of the people within them — our dedicated staff, our hardworking students, and our families who encourage and partner with us every day. Together, we’ve created a caring, connected district that puts students first and celebrates learning and growth.
I hope this holiday season brings you time to rest, reflect, and enjoy moments with family and friends. On behalf of all of us, thank you for making our schools such a proud part of this community.
Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a happy, healthy new year!
Sincerely,
Catherine Cost, Ed.D.
Interim Superintendent

Letters to Santa
Preschool students from the Sunshine and Rainbows program through the William D. Ford Career-Technical Center had a special delivery to make this month. They wrote and mailed letters to be delivered to a very jolly fella at the North Pole.
