Civil Discourse topic of the week: Zohran Mamdani
Zohran Mamdani currently maintains a strong polling lead in the NYC mayoral race, and an equally strong air of contention over his positions among the public. What would it mean if he wins or loses? Does he represent the future of the American Democratic party as some are saying? What do you think of him?
Come out to Civil Discourse this Wednesday at lunch and share your thoughts!
Parents/Guardians: Please Complete Federal Impact Aid Survey
The annual Impact Aid Survey is now open in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Families are asked to complete the form by Friday, December 19, 2025. (This is different than the LCFF form that was due earlier in the year).
Impact Aid provides essential federal funding that supports all students across San Diego Unified — including those living on or near federal property such as military bases.
How to complete the form:
Log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal.
Select Forms.
Choose 2025–26 Impact Aid Program Survey Form.
Sign and submit.
If you cannot access the Parent Portal, a paper version will be available in January.
If you need help accessing the Parent Portal or setting up an account, visit the Parent Portal resource webpage or contact our front office.
Every completed survey helps bring valuable resources to our schools — thank you for your participation!
