Chromebooks

Dear Families and Friends of Rocky Ford Schools!

We need your help. All student-issued Chromebooks now include a protective outer shell designed to reduce damage to the device. This protective cover is required and is part of the Chromebook insurance plan. If a student removes the protective cover, the insurance coverage is voided. In the event that damage occurs while the cover has been removed, parents/guardians may be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement. Please talk with your student about the importance of keeping the protective cover on their Chromebook at all times. Your support helps us ensure devices remain in good condition for student learning.

Thank you!!

Dr. Rita Robinson

Principal

Fundamentals Assessment (K-12)

Fundamentals is a short survey for K–12 students that helps schools better understand how students feel about school and themselves as learners. It looks at important non-academic factors that can affect learning, such as confidence, motivation, and a student’s sense of belonging at school.

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and asks students to respond to simple statements about their school experiences and learning habits. For example, areas such as attitudes toward school and teachers, confidence, work habits, preparedness, attendance, and how students respond to academic expectations. There are no right or wrong answers. Results help educators identify students who may need additional support early and guide social-emotional and academic supports to better meet students’ needs.
