Mrs. Baird's - Teachers On The Rise
How it works:
Every month throughout the school year, three winning teachers will be selected - one in elementary school, one in middle school and one in high school. The winners can come from any school district in the area, even private schools. We then plan surprise presentations for the winning teachers and students. We try to make these presentations as big as possible.
How to enter
Students are able to nominate their teachers by logging onto our website, www.TeachersOnTheRise.com and clicking on the “Lubbock” area, where they can submit a short essay on how their teacher goes above and beyond the call of duty.
Prizes
Teachers On The Rise winners receive great prizes including a $100 United Supermarkets shopping spree, a lunch for two to the private Texas Tech Club and a gift basket full of products and goodies from Mrs Baird's Bread. To encourage students to nominate their teachers, students who nominate a winning teacher will receive a $50 American Express gift card.
