Principal's Message

Dear Sycamore Families,

October was a busy month at Sycamore. We had a great time welcoming families for a night of fun at our PTA Fall Festival. All Pro Dads kicked off with a great turn out as well as many parents attended parent teacher conferences. One major initiative we kicked off this month was Clubs for All. Each teacher created a club for students to join. Some of these clubs included fishing, board games, camping, music and art, and so many more! Students were allowed to select the one of their choice. It was such a wonderful experience for students and teachers! Everyone had such a great time building relationships by having some fun. We look forward to our next club day! The Clubs for All will take place once a month for the remainder of the school year.

We look forward to welcoming families to our Thanksgiving feast. See below for specific details. Thank you for being a great support for Sycamore. We are Sycamore Strong!

School Picture Make-up/Retake Day, Nov 7th

A photographer from Strawbridge Studios will be at Sycamore on Tuesday, 11/7/2023 to photograph students that were absent on 9/18, new to Sycamore 9/18-11/7 or need to retake pictures.
Students purchasing pictures will present payments to the photographer
Students that are retaking pictures will return their picture package to the photographer

Parent Center News

At Sycamore Elementary School we have Play 2 Learn. This program is focused on creating early childhood learning experiences in the school setting. Activities are modeled and facilitated by a certified staff member utilizing best practices for readiness skills in Communication, Language and Literacy, Cognitive Development, Social-Emotional Development, Approaches to Play and Learning and Motor Skill Development.

-Children ages birth to 5 years old and their parents or caregivers.

- Play 2 Learn will be from August to May- twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:30.
