Micheal Coppock 3rd-5th Grade

I am Assistant Principal Michael Coppock. I am beginning my twenty first year working for EPISD. I spent my first ten years as an ELAR teacher at Lafarelle Alternative MS and Canyon Hills MS. I try to instill campus values of being ready, being respectful, and being responsible. I also place a priority on safety. Every student, parent, community member, and campus faculty/staff member should be welcomed and be safe.

During my "free time" I enjoy traveling all over the world. I try to visit Europe every other year with plans to visit Scotland to play golf at St. Andrews (birthplace of golf). Over the last few years, I have been traveling to National Parks and Monuments to see what America has to offer. My eventual goal is to visit all 50 states, all 30 MLB baseball stadiums, all or at least most National Parks, and travel coast to coast on a train. I have thoroughly enjoyed my life up until now and will continue to do so with family and great friends.

Pick Up & Drop Off Pick Up & Drop Off

Parents will be able to escort their children to class the first 3 days of school. Campus staff will be available to assist students to find their classroom. The drop off zone is the best way to expedite the drop off process. It is very helpful that you wish your child a good day in the car before you drop them off to keep a steady traffic flow. You are more than welcome to park and walk your child to the door if you prefer.

Download the new APP! Download the new APP!

Parents and students can use the El Paso ISD app for district and school news, events, lunch menus and more! Our new app features Rooms, a parent-teacher communication tool. Rooms empowers teachers with the tools needed to give families a seamless communication experience.

Rooms offers secure, two-way messaging between families and their child’s school. Teachers can send parents, guardians, and students broadcasts, announcements, and messages. And guardians can message teachers and staff.

This makes it easy for everyone to know how to get in contact with each other. Instead of using disparate channels, like text, email, Facebook, etc., families and teachers can communicate with each other through one tool. Rooms exist within your district app, which means you don’t have to download an additional app to keep up with your child’s school. You can chat with teachers (through Rooms) and access all district-wide information—from dining menus to events to announcements and more—through one app.

Start using Rooms in 3 Easy Steps!

  1. Download the El Paso ISD App

  2. Click Rooms

  3. Sign in to Rooms with a phone number or email
