PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Cedar Lee Middle School Families,
WOW February is over and here comes March. I will say it is starting to feel a little like spring around CLMS. Students, as I say every morning, focus on being an active participant in your learning. I know this is a tough time of year but it is a crucial time as well.
I had the distinct pleasure of being invited to hear some of Ms. Shanks 8th grade students read their personal narratives today and I was amazed. Not only was I amazed by their writing and public speaking abilities but by their BRAVERY. These students told so many personal stories, some were funny, some were of challenges, but all were very personal. I am so grateful they invited me in and shared their stories with me and their peers. The time I spend in the classroom with my students is my absolute favorite time of any school day.
Three more weeks and then the third nine weeks is over. Please dig deep and try to stay focused this time before spring break is the final push before spring testing season starts. Gain as much as you can from every class every day. No one answered my hidden question last week but there is another one in here this week. It is truly hidden, GOOD LUCK!!!
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly.
Have a great weekend.
Sincerely,
Leah R, Shorb
