Phil Campbell HS Newsletter

We had a great Homecoming week at PCHS! The weather caused us change a few things but it was a great week for our students!

Congratulations to Sadie Hill on being named Homecoming Queen.

On Wednesday, we started out with a great turnout for See You At The Pole. Later in the morning, our Juniors beat the Seniors in the finals of our boys class volleyball tournament.

On Thursday, our students watched The Greatest Showman on the big screen in the gym in the morning. In the afternoon, we held a pep rally with a competitive game of musical chairs.

On Friday, our student pulled their floats on campus and worked on them in the morning. We dismissed school early and held our pep rally in the afternoon. And, of course, we capped it all off with big win over rival Hackleburg 26-10.

A couple of homecoming activities we didn't get to do last week because of weather had to be moved to later dates. We will play our girls flag football tournament on Monday morning. Monday is a half day for students. School will dismiss at 11:30am.

The bon fire/pep rally will be moved to the Thursday or Friday night of Senior Night vs Hanceville (October 23/24). We will decide later on the exact date and time.

Volleyball: Our junior varsity volleyball team finished runner up in the Franklin County Tournament on Saturday.

Football: Our junior high football team continued their unbeaten streak by defeating Lawrence County 12-0 on Monday. Our varsity team beat Hackleburg 26-10.

Have A Great Week!
