PTA Weekly Update
September 16, 2024

February 9, 2026
Good morning Husky families!
It's the final days of the Kid's Heart Challenge! We have fun activities to celebrate healthy hearts all week long! Spirit Week starts today (wear your favorite superhero costume or gear). The week culminates with the Kids Heart Challenge event on Friday, February 13. We still need volunteers for 3rd and 5th grades. Please sign up if you can help out!
So far we've achieved the following:
- 250 Spring Brook students are registered for the KHC. Mrs. Evans' 4th grade class is still in the lead with the most students registered. Classes earn incentives based on participation, so become a heart hero today!
- We EXCEEDED our $26,000 fundraising goal, raising $26,500+! (Donations can still be made!)
- 70 students have completed Finn's Mission so far; we're on our way to our goal of 110 students completing it. Finn's Mission teaches children about heart health, hands-only CPR, how to recognize a stroke, and only takes a few minutes to do!
Also, don't forget to get your tickets to the Adult Social on February 21:
- We're taking it back to the 90s! Purchase your tickets to the Adult Social and get together with other Spring Brook parents the evening of February 21 for live music, an exciting silent auction, a wine pull, and more. Ticket prices increase after this week, so get yours today!
In addition to the newsletter, check our website for information on these programs and more.
Have a good week!
