Halloween Festival Pumpkin Contest and Opportunity Drawing
Get creative and join the EARThS Family Pumpkin Decorating Contest at our Halloween Festival on 10/24!
Be sure to register on CheddarUp by clicking on the above button and to view all the Do's and Don'ts. You can drop off your freestanding, family-friendly pumpkin (no larger than a basketball) between 10 AM and 12 PM on festival day; voting will be done by festival attendees, and pumpkins must go home with you when you leave. The winning family will receive a $40 In-N-Out gift card and a photo in the yearbook with their prized pumpkin!
Get excited for our Halloween Festival Opportunity Drawing!
We’ll have three exciting prizes up for grabs, and each child will receive two tickets to bring home on the Friday before the festival. Want to increase your chances of winning? Additional tickets can be purchased for just $1 each via Zelle or cash, so don’t miss your chance to enter and win!
Halloween Festival Volunteers Needed
Our Annual Halloween Festival is coming up, and we have quite a few volunteer spots open! We need parent volunteers to help with set-up, running the activity booths, and breakdown/clean-up.
Have little ones with you? Bring them along! They love being our helpers by retrieving items, helping organize supplies, or holding the prize bin.
Please take a moment and click on the button below to sign up for a volunteer shift. Once you enter your name and email, scroll down until you see our teacher’s name to find the available volunteer opportunities. We have several spots to choose from, so please take a look and grab a time that works best for your family!
We truly appreciate your help! Our Halloween Festival is one of the most exciting events of the year for our kids, and it takes our amazing parent community to make it happen. Thank you for helping us make this a fun and memorable night for everyone!
*We are also looking for Middle School volunteers to help assist with the inflatables and other activities before, during and after the festival. Click on the button below to sign up your Middle School so they can get their volunteer hours in. *

Corporate Matching
The PTA is taking an active role in pursuing funds that are available under corporate matching gift programs and volunteer grant programs. Participating in your employer’s Corporate Matching Program is one of the easiest ways for Earths to raise funds. The best part about utilizing these programs is the money raised is not coming from our parents; the money is coming from corporate America!
Companies with these programs include Amgen, Countrywide, WellPoint, Wells Fargo, Home Depot and many more. A minimum donation amount of typically $25 or $50 is usually required and the request for matching usually needs to be made in a timely manner (for example: within 90 days of your donation; although some companies require requests to be made within 30 days, so don’t delay).
Additionally, some companies have Corporate Giving Programs that don’t require any cash donation on your part. For example, Disney, Warner Bros. and Anthem Blue Cross all have “Volunteer Grant” programs. This amount could easily double if everyone who donated time and/or money checked with their employer. Please ask your company for details.
