Ms. Blanchard - PreK Teacher
My name is Rache’ Blanchard, and I am a proud native of Washington, DC, and a product of Prince George’s County Public Schools. I am deeply passionate about early childhood education and committed to building a solid foundation for young learners. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from North Carolina Central University and began my career in education as a paraprofessional with DC Public Schools. I later transitioned into a full-time teaching role in Prince George’s County, where I taught 2nd grade. I am now entering my fourth year as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher.
I am committed to providing developmentally appropriate, engaging instruction that supports both academic achievement and social-emotional growth. I believe in creating a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time with my energetic 3-year-old daughter and find balance through faith, family, and continued professional growth. I am excited to join the HHES community and look forward to building strong partnerships with families to support student success.
