KAES Keenections

It was a perfect day at the stock show. The sun was shining, a soft breeze was blowing, much of the crowds had stayed home, you could just breath in all the excitement and smells that go with cows, donkeys, goats, sheep, bunnies and chickens. I think everyone had a good time. Thank you parents for joining us and chaparoning. Learning outside of the classroom is fun, especially when the topic is so close to the heart of Texas.

Please continue to support our KAES chapel offering shade tree project for Lake Whitney Ranch. We hope to plant these trees this spring.

Lunch order is to be placed with the homeroom teacher each day. $4.50 small $5.50 large

All meals are vegetarian

Monday - Asian noodles with vegetables and veggie meat, juice or milk

Tuesday - Flautas, rice, beans, salad and drink

Wednesday - Veggie burger, french fries, and drink

Thursday - Quesadillas, white rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, juice or milk

Friday - Hotdog, potato chips, steamed vegetables, dessert, juice or milk

Feb. 16 - Noon release (no hot lunch / no afterschool care)

Feb. 16-18 - MS Basketball Tournament

Feb. 19 - No school: Presidents' Day

Feb. 23-24 - 7th and 8th grade Music Fest

Feb. 28 - PreSchool and PreK fieldtrip to Rio Vista Children's museum
