7th grade Reading

Reading: We are digging deep into 'appeals' in advertising-Logos, Ethos, Pathos. One of our activities was scouring magazines to find examples. Needless to say, the kids had fun with that!

PreAP: Fun project! Students are blending their understanding of their #LitCircle novel, Ender's Game, with their understanding of Logos, Ethos, and Pathos and are creating and filming a commercial.The commercial is due on Feb. 10th. I can't wait to see their final products!

Black History is American History and February is Black History Month: In addition to everything else, wee are doing 'Snapshot Research' on important and significant figures in Black History. Students are having fun with this mini-research project.
