Prize Cart is Back!!!!
Prize cart is back! Kids have the opportunity to trade in their tickets at the prize cart one week each month. We love to have two volunteers for each grade to help facilitate. If you are able/willing to volunteer, please use this sheet to sign up.

Family File - it's that time again!
Update Your Student/Family Emergency Information Today!
Parents/guardians must verify and/or update emergency information for each child every school year. This is completed online in Family File, which has several new updates including how and where to access. Full details on updating your Family FileLinks to an external site. are available online.

PTA Updates and Information
Tennis and Pickleball Classes at Rockburn
The PTA is once again partnering with TGA to offer tennis and pickleball classes on Fridays after school from 3:15-4:15 at Rockburn. Classes begin on Friday, October 3rd and run through November 21st with no class on 10/17 and 10/31. Register today at https://tinyurl.com/TGARockburnFall25. Spaces are limited!
Walk to School Day
Walk and Roll to School Day will be on Wednesday, October 8. Save the date to join your classmates by walking to school that morning. Parents/Guardians, be on the lookout for a sign up to help safely lead our walkers to school that day.
Rockburn's K-Pop Penny Hunters!
From October 6 to October 10, get ready to bring the beat and the battle!
Help your grade rise to the top as we continue to fundraise for our new electronic sign by participating in our Penny Wars!
How it works:
-Have your child drop pennies and bills into their grade level jar to score points.
-Have your child drop silver coins (nickels, dimes, and quarters) into other grades' jars to knock them down and subtract points.
-Surprise attacks can be made online at https://rockburnpta.givebacks.com/shop to earn even more points for your team!
-Jars will be located in the main hall across from the main office.
The team with the most points at the end will claim the spotlight and bragging rights and will earn extra recess and a dance party!
Bring your coins, bring your energy, and bring your fandom! Let's make this fundraiser legendary!
Make Waves at Rockburn - Join the PTA
The 2025-2026 PTA Membership Drive has begun. Your PTA contribution and membership helps fund many programs throughout the year such as Cultural Arts assemblies, Family Involvement events, Back to School Celebration, Fall Festival, Holiday Shop, Bingo Night, Movie Night, Sports Park NIght, 5th grade signature shirts, school gifts, staff appreciation, and enhancements to our recess and PE programs. All parents are encouraged to join the PTA. You can pay your annual membership dues and order classwear t-shirts online via our MemberHub store (https://rockburnpta.givebacks.com/shop). You can also make a direct donation to the PTA there. Choose “Bundle Membership” when purchasing your Rockburn PTA membership to get the best deal. This includes a PTA membership, no entrance fee to PTA events (October Fall Festival, February Bingo Night, and May Rockburn Sports Park Night) and ONE FREE CLASS WEAR T-SHIRT!
Additional classwear is $14 each. T-shirt colors are based on the grade. Your child will wear their class t-shirt at events like: Rocky Run, Field trips, Walk to School Day, etc.
All memberships include the traditional benefits of National PTA’s partners (see pta.org) and help to enrich our students, families and staff. Good through June 2026.
You can also download the membership form and mail it to the school (Attn: PTA Treasurer). The school address is 6145 Montgomery Rd, Elkridge, MD 21075. You can also send it in with your child and have them give it to their teacher.
