Monthly Update from the Principal's Desk - September 2024

June 2025
Dear Readington Middle School Families,
As we embrace the warmth and excitement of summer, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible school year we've had and share some thoughts as we move into this special season.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our students, parents, and staff for your unwavering support and dedication throughout the year. Your commitment to education, resilience, and community spirit has made all the difference.
To our 8th graders - Wishing you all the best in high school and beyond! Please never forget your time at RMS! We will never forget you all!
To our rising 6th graders - Welcome to RMS! We can't wait for you to join us full time in September!
For our rising 7th and 8th graders - Please continue to be the wonderful Vikings that you are!
Summer is a time for rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. It's also an excellent opportunity for students to explore new interests, engage in enriching activities, and spend quality time with family and friends. Whether your plans include travel, camps, or simply enjoying the sunshine at home, I encourage you to make the most of this time together.
Looking ahead, we are already preparing for an exciting new school year filled with innovative programs, enriching experiences, and opportunities for growth. Our dedicated team is committed to ensuring that every student returns to a welcoming and supportive environment where they can achieve their full potential.
Please keep an eye out for our back-to-school communication, which will include important dates, events, and updates about the upcoming year.
Remember the first day of school is September 2, 2025!
RMS Back to School Night will be September 18, 2025!
In the meantime, if you have any questions or need assistance, our office will remain open during the summer months, and we are here to help.
Have a wonderful summer, and, GO VIKINGS!
