Notes from Administration
Good afternoon, Homewood Center Community.
I am excited to share that Homewood is making strides in our attendance with February attendance being some of the best this year! Keep it up Phoenix students and families! Please update your calendars to note that at its Feb. 26 meeting, the Howard County Board of Education approved calendar adjustments to ensure the school system meets the State’s required days and hours. To see the details on changes to the school calendar please click here.
In celebration of Black History Month, our very creative students and staff have been hard at work around this year's theme: One Movement: Every Beat Matters. We ended our week with a Soul Food Luncheon and Show. Enjoy a few pictures of the amazing things our students and staff have been working on this month!
Make it a great one!
