Your continued commitment helps create more opportunities for student growth, success, and school pride. We truly appreciate your dedication and all you do to help our school thrive!

WGN's Around Town came to visit our automotive program just before spring break. If you would like to view the WGN morning news segments where our students and staff were featured, please click here.

Attention any junior or senior student attending prom! The Viking Boutique is back this year! Come shop our large selection of formal dresses, suits, shoes, accessories and more! All items are free for any junior or senior student in need of formal wear for prom! The event will be on Thursday April 10th during all lunch periods outside of the Auditorium (the former commons). Please reach out to Ms. Koehler in Student Services with any questions.

Preparing your student for academic success means staying informed about required assessments. This linked document (previously emailed to all parents from District 211) provides essential details about upcoming assessments, including the DLM, PreACT Secure, ACT assessment and Illinois Fitness Assessment. These support your student’s learning and fulfill state and federal requirements under the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). Fremd will have an altered schedule on Tuesday April 15, 2025 and Wednesday April 16, 2025 to allow for some of the testing to occur.

Seniors - We are very excited to provide this opportunity to students with over 90 local businesses looking to hire our students! District 211 will be hosting the Senior Job Fair at Schaumburg High School on Thursday, April 24. To register for the event CLICK HERE!

A Night in Paris: Prom 2025

Get ready for a night of elegance and enchantment. This year’s prom theme is “A Night in Paris,” promising a dazzling evening of dinner, dancing and plenty of memories to be made. Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 10th at the Westin Itasca, as we celebrate an unforgettable evening!

Families of junior/senior students, keep an eye out for an informational email (coming soon!) with all the details you need. Follow junior class on Instagram for more updates - it’s going to be a night to remember!

We need your immediate attention to an important safety concern. Reckless driving in the Fremd parking lot is not only dangerous but also puts students, staff, and visitors at serious risk. Speeding, cutting off other drivers, ignoring stop signs, and other careless behaviors will not be tolerated.

Effective immediately, any reckless driving incidents may result in disciplinary action, loss of parking privileges, and possible law enforcement involvement. We urge all drivers to follow speed limits, obey traffic rules, and prioritize safety.

Let’s work together to keep our school community safe. Your cooperation is expected and appreciated.

Looking for more academic support? Fremd offers tutoring both during the day as well as after school. Content tutors are available to help in Math, Science, English and World Language.
