🦷 The Dentist is Returning to Sunny Hill

We are happy to welcome the mobile dental clinic back on Friday, February 27th. If your child was signed up but was not able to be seen during the previous clinic, they are at the top of the list for this session! If you are interested in getting your child signed up for the clinic, please complete the permission form and return it to the school nurse as soon as possible. If you need another permission form, please contact the school nurse at jmolina@barrington220.org or call 847-844-4224.

Why Sign Up?

  • This visit is a perfect opportunity for current 5th graders to check off their mandatory state dental exam requirements early before entering 6th grade next year.
  • These services are provided at no out-of-pocket cost for students who are uninsured or covered by Medicaid.
  • You don't need to drive anywhere or take time off work.
  • All services are provided right here on-site during school hours

Fees for Jump Start 1 and 2

Just a reminder that when registering for Jump Start 1 and 2 you will see a fee attached at registration. If you qualify for free and reduced lunch, those fees will be adjusted after you complete registration. Please contact the office if you have any questions.

💡 Parent Moves: Sharing Vulnerably💡

Have you been honest even when it was tough? I remember a time that I didn't want to be honest but I was anyway. Maybe you can relate? Consider sharing this moment with your little ones. It's a way to build connection, share vulnerably, and admit your humanity.

Talk to your little one about honesty

The guides below help you have great family conversations about honesty. If we don't talk about this at home, our little ones may not know that you value it and see how honesty has helped your life. One way to think about honesty is “being truthful in what you say and do.” Practicing honesty helps strengthen our relationships and even reduces stress.
