🍽️Lunch Drop-offs: Our office staff has noticed an increase in parents dropping off lunch late into the lunch periods, resulting in leaving the students very little time to eat. If you plan to drop-off lunch for your child, please make sure that it is at the school and on the appropriate lunch cart before the lunch period begins. Our bell schedule indicates lunch period times.

Stop the Bleed Training

Texas Education Code 38.030 requires school districts to offer Stop the Bleed training to students in grades 7-12 to equip them with lifesaving skills in emergency situations. This training empowers students to respond effectively to severe bleeding incidents, potentially saving lives before first responders arrive. By providing this training, we are ensuring that our students are prepared for emergencies and can contribute to a safer school environment. Click here to learn more about this valuable training. All students who are interested in the training need to complete the online portion and bring the certification to Nurse Hannah by March 31st.

Together We Empower

One of our campus goals is to provide ongoing learning opportunities for our staff so that we're always growing, too. Learners are leaders! On Monday after spring break, our staff returned to campus and engaged in several learning opportunities offered by their peers. It was a great opportunity to share ideas and connect with people from across the building. When teachers commit to continuing to learn and grow, it results in growth for our students, too!

🚲 Walk Your Wheels

Prosper ISD is implementing a new β€œWalk Your Wheels” safety initiative across all campuses starting March 9. Students and visitors who ride bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, or skateboards must dismount and walk their wheels once they enter school property, including sidewalks, courtyards, and areas near bike racks.

This initiative helps:

β€’ Improve pedestrian safety

β€’ Reduce congestion during arrival and dismissal

β€’ Prevent accidents and near-miss incidents

New signs will be installed at pedestrian entrances and near bike rack areas to clearly communicate expectations.
