Red Ribbon Week: “Life is a Puzzle—Solve It Drug Free!”
November Newsletter 2025
Red Ribbon week is an annual campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of drug use. It’s a time to educate students about the impact of drugs on their lives and communities, and how to make positive choices. During Red Ribbon Week, students learned that each of us is a piece of the puzzle in making healthy, positive choices. Through lessons and activities, students explored how making good decisions, choosing healthy habits, and surrounding themselves with supportive friends all help them build a bright future. Families can help reinforce this message by talking with their children about the dangers of drugs and alcohol, encouraging open communication, and modeling healthy ways to handle stress or peer pressure. Together, we can help our children “solve the puzzle” of living happy, healthy, and drug-free lives!
This month, our school will be focusing on gratitude—taking time to notice and appreciate the good things in our lives. Students will be learning how showing thankfulness, kindness, and caring can make our school community a happier place for everyone. Families can help strengthen these habits at home by encouraging children to share something they are thankful for each day, writing kind notes to others, helping with small acts of service, and modeling appreciation through words and actions. When children see and feel gratitude in their everyday lives, they grow into more positive, caring, and compassionate people.
