Owens Families,

Many have questions about classroom Christmas parties. We are still having our annual Christmas classroom parties this year. Classroom parties will all be on Friday, December 18th; this is also an early release day. Students will be released at 1:30 p.m. from elementary campuses. There will be no BGC on December 18th. Elementary bus riders have to have someone waiting for them in order to be dropped off, please make arrangements accordingly.

Your homeroom teachers will let you know their class party time for Friday, December 18th. We are not open to visitors attending parties this year. We typically have hundreds of visitors on this day and with the current status of the pandemic this does not seem in the best interest of safety for students, staff, families. You may still send treats for students for parties and are encouraged to just as before. You should receive specifics on that from your teacher or homeroom mom.

We are still going to make this a special time for our students as always. We all look forward to brighter days when we are all together again celebrating the holiday season. Parent support is one of the best things about our wonderful school. Thank you for your understanding and for your part in still making our Christmas festivities magical for our students!

If you have not already written your child's name in their winter gear, do so today with a sharpie. It helps us get items right back to your child when they are left behind. To claim an item from the photographs below:

• Include the child's name and homeroom teacher so we can return the item
