CSD Board Recognizes Clairemont Students

Four of our second grade students were recognized at this week's board meeting for their participation in the Decatur Reads & Dyslexia Awareness art contest. Students were invited to create artwork that celebrates learning differences or educates about dyslexia. Violet L. in Ms. Bigham's class was our school winner in the contest!

Bus Safety is for Everyone!

This Wednesday, all students had the opportunity to participate in a bus safety presentation and practice. They learned about the safest ways to board, sit in their seats, and evacuate in case of emergency. Even students who normally go home a different way will probably ride the bus for a field trip at some point, so it's important they all practice safe bus habits!
