Our 3-5 Libraries Have Books for Every Reader!
Hello Morgan Road & Soule Road Elementary Families,
My name is Darcy Barber and I am your child’s Library Media Skills Teacher. I am excited to teach your children Information Literacy Skills & Inquiry in the MRE and the SRE libraries. When your child visits the library and signs out a book, books are due back the next time they have class in the library. Here are a few things I would like you and your children to know before we begin to share library resources in a few weeks. Click the pdf below:
2026-2027 Special Events and Programs
Thank you to our MRE & SRE Families and our PTO for our successful Fall Book Fairs!
"Save the Date" 2027 Lori Bresnahan Book Award
This award is named for our esteemed colleague, Lori Bresnahan. Her devotion to our children and dedication in sharing great literature with them is celebrated with this award. LCSD K-5 children will experience carefully curated books from the Charlotte Award and will then vote for their favorite to become the 2027 Bresnahan Award Winner. The LCSD Library Department is once again partnering with Liverpool Public Library in Spring 2027 to celebrate this amazing award. This event will support the Lori Bresnahan "Dollars for Scholars" Scholarship for a graduating senior pursuing a degree in education. More information soon!
