From Principal Favero
Dear Wredling Families
Can’t wait to see you all at conferences over the next two days! It’s always a great chance to connect and celebrate your students’ growth. While you’re here, be sure to swing by the Book Fair in the LRC—it’s the perfect place to stock up on new reads (and maybe sneak in a little nostalgia for your own school days 📚). And don’t forget to check the Lost and Found—it’s overflowing with jackets, hoodies, and water bottles that are sure someone in your house is missing! Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Proud to be a RedHawk,
Francesca Favero, PrincipalBrowse our Book Fair!

Help Us Out During Morning Drop-Off
We understand that morning drop-off can be challenging—especially during inclement weather. If you plan to wait with your student for a while, please consider parking along the track instead of in the main lot. This helps reduce congestion and ensures our staff have access to parking. Thanks for you help!
Alan Gratz Author Visit: October 15
Students will have the opportunity to hear from Wredling's favorite author, Alan Gratz, on Wednesday, October 15! They will hear about his writing journey, ask questions, and get inspired to read and write more!
Order autographed copies of Alan Gratz’s newest book, War Games, as well as the new graphic novel edition of his award-winning novel, Refugee, through PushCoin by October 9. Families may purchase books in advance, and students will receive their signed copies on the day of the visit. Don’t miss this special opportunity!
Check out the trailer for the new book here: War Games
We are looking forward to this wonderful event and can’t wait to share the experience with our students!
Please note: we will be following an alternative bell schedule this day. It will be extremely difficult to pull students from 9:20-10:30. If you are planning to pick up your student during this time frame, please plan for it to take longer to get your student to the office.

Help Us Collect ONE MILLION Pop Tabs!
We’re on a mission to collect one million pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House Charities, and we can’t do it without YOU (and your grandparents, cousins, neighbors, and carpool crew)!
Those tiny aluminum tabs from soda cans, soup lids, or sparkling water may seem small—but when we collect them together, they add up to real support for families with seriously ill children.
Here’s how to pitch in:
Save your pop tabs at home—and ask your grandparents, cousins, friends, and neighbors to do the same!
Bring them to school all year long.
Every tab brings us closer to our 1,000,000-tab goal!
Let's pull together and make a difference!
Race Under the Lights!
This year SCE Cross Country will be hosting a Race Under the Lights for all students who feed into East HS. If your student is interested, please fill out this google form.
