Hello Barrett Families!

Spring is blooming, and our school is buzzing with curiosity! This month students are learning about animals in our World of Wonders curriculum! As the weather warms up, please remember to send a light jacket for outdoor play.

Parents and guardians please be mindful of when our start and end times are. The morning session begins promptly at 8:15 and ends promptly at 10:45. The afternoon session begins promptly at 12:00 and ends promptly at 2:30. It is very disruptive to the learning environment when students arrive late to school on a frequent basis. Thank you!

Letters for Parent Teacher Conference signups went home last week. Please make sure that you sign up for a time with your child's teacher! We are also looking for raffle prize donations for our annual conference raffles. Please consider donating!

Please note that parent teacher conferences are only 10 minutes long and are only for parents only. Please leave students and siblings at home if possible as it is a time for you to connect with your child's teacher. Thank you!

April 2nd was World Autism Acceptance Day! The Barrett Russell celebrated by wearing rainbow colors! We love our students who come to us with all kinds of diverse needs!

The week we return from April vacation will start a new fundraiser for the Barrett Russell! We will be working with Domino's to sell pizza cards! All cards will cost $20.00 and will get you a free large pizza with the purchase of a large pizza! Who doesn't love free pizza?! If you purchase 10 pizzas, you get 10 free! The card will be valid through 12/31/26! $10.00 from every card sold will go directly to our school! More information including order forms will be coming!

We are focusing on Courage during the month of April. Please check out the newsletter for courage that goes along with our Social-Emotional Learning curriculum - Character Strong!

Mr. Kyle our night custodian unfortunately left the Barrett Russell to take another position within BPS. We wish him the best! You may have seen our new night custodian Mr. Dave at traffic. Please welcome him to our Barrett Russell family!
