Secondary Weekly Announcements

During the Week of December 8-12 we will be switching chapel days.

Our All School Christmas Chapel Sing-a-long will be Wednesday, December 10th at 10:45am.

Secondary campus will be on Chapel bell Schedule on Wednesday, Dec. 10th and Regular Bell schedule on Friday, Dec. 12th.

Both Wednesday and Friday are Scheduled A days.

Now that the weather is getting colder, please note the following dress code policy for outerwear. Only the following approved Legacy items are allowed. Other personal outerwear is allowed on Fridays only.

Outerwear/Jackets

• LCA monogrammed fleece jacket

• Solid-colored puffer jacket or rain jacket that is appropriate and reflects the values of LCA

• Any Legacy BSN outerwear (hoodies or jackets)

• Uniform shirts must be worn under outerwear clothing

• Hoodies may not be worn on the head after entering the building

• Secondary-Legacy team wear is also permitted for students who are part of that team with prior approval from the principal

Red Santa Heads go on sale THIS week (12/1 - 12/5) for $5 to have free/Christmas dress the entire week of December 8-12th!!

Students must stay in the School Dress Code.

All proceeds will go toward our NJHS Christmas party!! Thank you for your support.

It's that time to start preparing for the YMBL State Fair Art Contest!

Family Handbook - page 53: " Students have the option of bringing their own lunch from home, ordering from our provided vendors, or receiving food deliveries from family or friends ONLY."

Delivery lunch orders from any other sources such as CFA, Uber, GrubHub, Waiter, or individual restaurants that deliver are not allowed.

Reminder: Legacy has launched our premiere FACTS integration system so you no longer need to bring checks/cash to the office to pay for athletic fees, field trip fees, electronic fees, etc. All of these charges will be easily billed through the FACTS system. You will receive an email notifying you of the charge and the auto draft date. You will also be able to login to your FACTS family portal, choose the financial tab and view all of your tuition and fee charges at any time.

• For athletics, once the roster for a particular sport is finalized (end of the second week of official practice for the sport), we will send out the charges and payment notices.

To ensure responsible stewardship of school resources and reduce the significant costs associated with printing large volumes of handbooks, Legacy Christian Academy is transitioning to digital student handbooks beginning this school year.

We kindly ask all parents and students to download and review the appropriate handbook in its entirety.

The updated dress code policy, which will take effect at the start of the 2025-2026 school year, is available. These changes have been carefully considered to maintain our school's values while ensuring practicality and comfort for our students.

The updated dress code policy includes:

• A simplified dress code for both elementary and secondary
• Chapel Dress uniform is no longer required.
• As a senior privilege, seniors may wear Friday-approved attire every day of the week.

• Gives back 3% of purchases to our school
• Some items will be in stock, while others will need to be ordered, so everyone is encouraged to purchase in June.
• Khaki pants or shorts may be purchased at other locations in the "khaki" color

• Returns 10% of purchases to our school
