WYTOPP
This month we will begin our Summative WYTOPP. Please make sure students get a good night's rest, breakfast and are present for their testing days. Data shows students perform significantly better when they are assessed in the normal environment with their classroom teacher.
Students and teachers have been working hard all year and now is their time to shine. We appreciate your support in encouraging students to do their best and 100% effort.
Please see the link below for parent and student information regarding the WY TOPP.
WyTopp Testing Schedule
Please plan dentist /doctor/orthodontist appointments around WyTopp testing!
Students will have to make-up the test if they are absent or check out during it.

Livingston PTK
A Huge thank you to all the “Pops”! We had such a great turn out and the kids loved having pizza with a special guest.
It is that time of year when we are looking for new PTK officers. All positions are available; however, our current treasurer and secretary are willing to stay in their current position next year. But our President and Vice President are done after this year. We are so thankful for the four years they have served and wish them the best in their next endeavor.
All nominations are due by the next PTK meeting (April 9th). If we do not have a full board of officers, PTK cannot function and we will not be able to sponsor events or provide funding to classes and teachers. Please consider stepping up and helping our incredible school community. If you are interested, email us at LivyPTK@park6.org.
Thank you to those who volunteered to help with the scholarship committee. We are fortunate to be able to carry on this tradition by awarding two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors who attended Livingston Elementary School. Applications are in so if you would like to help in the selection process, please email us at LivyPTK@park6.org
What’s happening next with PTK?
🍬We will be providing 3rd-5th grade with mints and gum for WYTOPP testing.
📌 PTK meeting: April 9th at 3:30pm in the library.
Arrival
ARRIVING EARLY-STAYING LATE (STUDENTS):
Time before and after school is used by teachers to plan and prepare lessons and materials. Because teachers are unavailable to supervise them, we cannot allow students to play outside prior to 7:45 a.m. or after 3:15 p.m. Normal arrival time is 7:50 a.m., when supervision is available.
Drop off & Pick Up
Please be considerate of our Livingston Neighbors when parking your cars for drop-off and pick-up.
PLEASE do not block our neighbor's driveways. Thank you!!
Transportation-Bus/Pick up
Bus Information-
If your student requires transportation call our bus barn at 587-2851. The attached link shows our bus routes. https://www.park6.org/documents/departments/transportation/2022-2023-bus-routes/366663
Car Riders Kiss and Go-Drop Off in the Mornings-
Parents may drop off in the mornings from 7:45-8:10am. Students may enter the building if they are eating breakfast. If students are not eating breakfast at school, they may follow the sidewalk to the playground with teacher supervision available.
Car Riders Kiss and Go-Afternoon Dismissal-
Students who are using our Kiss and Go may be picked up along the curb. You will stay in your vehicle and follow the other cars, pulling up to the curb in the next available spot. A staff member will then put your student in the vehicle. Please write your students name on a sheet of paper and display this in the upper right hand corner of your dashboard, this will help with the flow of Kiss and Go.
Absences
PLEASE CALL: ATTENDANCE
When you know your child will be absent from school, please call the school between 7:30 and 8:45 a.m. If we have not heard from you, someone from the office will have to call you at home or at work. If we are unable to reach you, it will be necessary to call the emergency names listed on your child’s information sheet.
