Dear Parents and Guardians,

Spring has arrived and we are excited about the wonderful progress and experiences that have taken place during this school year. We are ready to “SPRING” into the final and most exciting quarter of the school year. I thank God and my MCS family for the faithful partnership, which has brought us this far on the journey. You are all vital to the success of our students.Thank you for your prayers and support.

COVID-19 Test Kits

As Spring Break approaches, the school has decided to send home COVID-19 Test Kits for the students. Test kits will be distributed to students during the week of April 4. We are sending home 1 box per student, which contains 2 kits. Please test your child at home the morning of April 18. If your child tests negative they may return to school on April 19 . If your child tests positive, see your physician and report the negative result to the school. COVID-19 quarantine guidelines should be followed. All test results must be emailed to the school at office@mcssda.org, no later than Monday April 18, in order for your child to return to school Tuesday Morning.

MCS Parent - THANK YOU!

The Middletown Christian School would like to give a Big Thank You to a MCS Parent that was very generous and donated five Hepa Air Filters for each classroom. During this time of COVID-19, we are extremely thankful for your thoughtful and timely gift, which has helped to filter the air in all of our classrooms. Your gift helps tremendously during an unprecedented and uncertain time. We thank you for thinking of us! Many blessings to you and your family.

Education Day at Monticello SDA Church

On Sabbath, March 26, 2022, MCS was invited as special guests to the Monticello Seventh-Day Adventist Church for their Education Day. Students joyfully ministered through music. We heard a moving selection of "Still" from the upper grade students on the recorders. Then the school choir beautifully sang “Wonderful Merciful Savior”. Principal Janeth Holmes-Alfred delivered a thought-provoking message to parents based on the scripture in Proverbs 22:6. We felt warmly welcomed by the Monticello church members as they graciously provided a token of appreciation for each student and faculty member. They also had a delicious lunch prepared for us after the service. We kindly thank the Monticello church for inviting us. Our students made us proud and we had a wonderful time! MCS is invited to sing again April 30th in Newburgh.
