Congratulations to HTHS student, Mary Kate Dimler on this exceptional achievement!
Color Days at Paine Elementary
Paine Kindergarten kicked off the year with Color Days, a fun tradition that combines creativity and learning. Each day, students wear a different color while engaging in activities, stories, and lessons tied to that color. This experience helps build classroom community, strengthens vocabulary, supports early literacy, and develops sorting and pattern skills. It’s a bright start to the school year that encourages self-expression and hands-on learning for our youngest Huskies.

Cahaba's 5th Graders Last First Day of School
The 5th graders kicked off their “last first day” at Cahaba with a special morning to remember. Parents transformed the school track into a festive breakfast spot. Students enjoyed breakfast together, surrounded by their friends, families, and teachers.
Following breakfast, the celebration continued with a tradition that holds a special place in our school’s history. Students and teachers paraded through the school’s iconic front porch doors, a symbolic moment marking their final first day here. As they stepped through those doors, cheers and applause echoed around them, honoring both their growth and the bright futures ahead. They are destined for higher heights!
