NEW LEARNING
We are pleased to share with you the commendable progress our pupils have been making. Their excellent attitudes to learning have been particularly noteworthy, demonstrating a commitment to academic growth that is truly inspiring.
Furthermore, it has been gratifying to observe the genuine enthusiasm our pupils are exhibiting towards our newly introduced topic of study which have drivers from History and Geography. This level of engagement is testament to both their intellectual curiosity and the dedication of our teaching staff in crafting stimulating learning experiences.
We shall continue to nurture this positive learning environment, encouraging our pupils to maintain their approach to education and to further explore their academic interests with vigour.
Please look out for homework from the class teachers and support your child's learning with spellings, KIRFS and regular reading.
Should you have any questions about learning, please speak to the classteacher at the end of the day or make an appointment to see them via the school office.
CLASS 1 - 'When did the dinosaurs live?'
CLASS 2 - 'How do rivers get their water?'
CLASS 3 - 'What impact did the Ancient Greeks have on modern life?'
CHRISTIAN VALUE OF THIS HALF-TERM
We are proud to be a Church of England school
Out vision is, 'Learning and growing in the love of God' (1 John 4:16)
We focus on one Christian value each half-term. This term, the focus of collective worship and wider school activiites is on 'Perseverance.'
GOVERNOR INFORMATION
In governance matters, Mrs Cartmell, a parent from Wetwang, has been elected as parent governor,
We're sure you'd like to join us in congratulating her.
If you have a skill which you think could enhance our governing board such as HR, finance, marketing or education, please get in touch. You don't have to have worked in education. Please contact the office if you think you are interested in becoming a co-opted governor.
YOUR HELP
We are actively seeking your expertise and knowledge to enrich our pupils' learning experiences. If you possess any insights or would like to contribute to our current topics of study - Dinosaurs, Rivers, and Ancient Greeks - we warmly encourage you to share your wisdom with us.
