Happy School Year 27!!
Greetings Butler Families,
It was another great week at Butler. We held our first All Pro Dad meeting at the community center and had a great turn-out. If you are a Dad, Granddad or other father figure and are interested, the next meeting will be October 14 at 8:00. We also held our annual Title 1 meeting. We appreciate everyone coming out to learn how Title 1 impacts our school. We look forward to another week of learning and growing.
Students in grades 3-5 that have expressed interest in Student Government will begin campaigning this week.
There will be an informational meeting this coming Tuesday at 6pm for students interested in joining Scouts of America.
The School Store fundraiser is back this year. Anytime you shop online at www.schoolstore.com and designate our school, we earn up to 50 percent per purchase.
The SchoolStore Program is 100% online, which means there is no face-to-face selling, handling money, or delivering products. Participation is simple and takes less than 12 minutes. Plus, students can earn fun participation prizes!

Butler Elementary Uniforms
With the understanding that student behavior is influenced by the way students are dressed and that no student should dress in a manner that is disruptive or has an adverse effect on school activities, the following mandatory uniform standards have been developed. Students are expected to dress in the school uniform during the school day, on field trips, and during school-related activities.
Please make note below:
- Students may wear any Butler Bear spirit shirt with uniform bottoms (as an alternative uniform shirt) daily. Spirits shirts will be sold throughout the year.
- Students may wear black uniform pants or skirts as a part of the uniform.
- School-sponsored hoodies will be permitted to wear.
Non-Uniform Days:
- Butler will now hold two dress down days per month. SCCPSS is promoting a cashless system. To comply, Butler will offer an opportunity for parents to make a one time payment of $10.50 for all scheduled dress down days during the year using school cash.
