Hello Viking Families,

As we approach the end of the school year, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to all parents for your continued support and partnership in your child's education. Together, we've navigated through challenges and celebrated successes. Let's finish the year strong, filled with pride for all our students have accomplished. If any parents are interested in volunteering to support lunch or recess, or if they want to come in and help out in the classrooms, please give the office a call (614) 365 - 6312 to find out when you can come in. Thank you for entrusting us with your child's growth and learning journey. Here's to a wonderful end of the year!

All chromebooks need to be returned to the school that are at home by May 20th. This includes ones that are broken or locked. Students in grades 4-5 will no longer be taking devices home as of May 17th.

Columbus City Schools is hosting the READY FOR SUMMER FAIR focusing on summer preparedness and safety. Summer is fun, but it also comes with risks.

West side community partners will be providing the community with life-saving information and resources on first aid, home, outdoor, water, bike, cooking safety, summer programming, and more.

A FREE fun and informative event for families including bounce houses, face painting, ice cream and children area. Community partners from the west side including Highland Youth Garden, Franklinton Development Association, Mid-Ohio Food Collective, and many more.

As our students prepare to "level up" and move forward on their academic journey, it's a moment for celebration and reflection on their growth and accomplishments. We invite you to join us in honoring their hard work, dedication, and achievements throughout their time at Valleyview Elementary.

Your support and encouragement have played a crucial role in your child's success, and we would be honored to have you share in this special moment with us. Let's come together as a community to celebrate our incredible 5th graders and send them off to middle school with pride and joy.

The 2024 Summer Experience is FREE to all Pre-K through 12 Columbus City Schools students! Summer Experience for Pre-K through 8 students kicks off June 17. We're excited to provide CCS students and families with a summer of exciting school and community-based learning experiences.

This year’s Pre-K through 8 Summer Experience includes similar project-based learning students and families have been able to enjoy through our Pathway Express focuses, including Pathways such as Health and Fitness, Visual Arts, Urban Agriculture, World Languages and Cultures, and MORE!
