Reminders: Reminders:

  • Please remember to make your PowerSchool updates to prevent any interruption in your ability to check grades. If you need assistance with PowerSchool updates, contact Mrs. Anderson at renee.anderson@napoleonschools.org
  • Lost clothing, binders, water bottles and lunch boxes can be found on the stage in the cafeteria. Once they begin to pile up, we donate them to charity. If you notice your child's wardrobe is shrinking, have them check the stage at lunch.
  • Students should be using their lockers, and keeping them closed and locked between classes to protect their belongings.

Change to 1st HOUR TARDY POLICY Change to 1st HOUR TARDY POLICY

In the past, we have not counted 1st hour tardies in our official tardy counts as it is not always the fault of the student when they are tardy at the beginning of the day. However, there are students who are taking advantage of this loophole and it is difficult to determine who is who.

Starting November 1st, if a student arrives after the first hour bell at 7:28 AM and a parent or guardian signs them in, we will not count that tardy in their official count. If a student signs themselves in late, it will count now as an official tardy.

Staffing Changes Staffing Changes

While you were enjoying the summer break, we have been interviewing and hiring the BEST possible teachers for openings in our building. Please give a hardy Pirate Welcome to Mrs. Siegrist, 6th grade Science and Mr. Hamilton, Special Education Teacher. We are excited that they are now part of the Pirate Family!

Our 8th Grade Science vacancy is currently in great hands with Mr. Lee. We hope to have an announcement next week about a more permanent teacher for our kids.
