October Principal Message
Greetings From PVMS
Dear Prairie View Families:
A month and a half into the school year, it is wonderful to see our Eagles building friendships, establishing routines, and growing as learners. As we move forward, our message is simple: Every Day Matters! Coming to school every day, arriving on time, and staying engaged help students make the most of each learning opportunity.
As principal, one of my favorite parts of the day is seeing students arrive ready to connect with their teachers and classmates. Please help your student build a consistent morning routine, so they arrive on time and are prepared to participate. When students are healthy, being here for the full school day helps them keep pace with instruction and feel connected to our school community. Asking what they learned or enjoyed each day is another small way to encourage engagement.
Our first athletics season is wrapping up, and we are proud of the effort, teamwork, and school spirit our student-athletes have demonstrated. Sports, clubs, and extracurricular activities give students opportunities to build friendships, explore interests, and strengthen their connection to school. We encourage every Eagle to find a way to get involved!
We also recently celebrated our September Students of the Month. Congratulations to these students for setting a positive example and contributing to our Prairie View community!
Thank you for your partnership in your student’s educational journey. Your support with attendance, punctuality, and involvement makes a meaningful difference. Together, we can help our Eagles make every day count.
Sincerely,
Maura R. Baskovich
Principal
