The Franklin County Early College High School is a collaboration between Franklin County Schools and Vance-Granville Community College

ECHS opened in 2010 and is located on Vance-Granville’s Franklin Campus in Louisburg, NC. Funded by a grant through the NC New Schools Project and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, ECHS is a 4-5 year high school where graduates will receive a high school diploma and a two year Associates Degree and/or College Transfer Credits from Vance-Granville Community College.

SCHOOL VISION

The Early College High School framework ensures each student earns a high school diploma and a two-year degree or transferable college credits in five years or less. Students are supported with tutoring, staff connections, peer mentoring, and leadership opportunities.

SCHOOL MISSION

The mission of the Early College High School is to foster a community that provides academic rigor, relevant coursework, and service-learning opportunities to build a foundation for students to be lifelong learners and leaders in their communities.

There is a parent interview! If you will need translation services, when the time comes just let them know and translation will be provided.

*Lots of people think that Early College HAS to be five years, but that isn't true. If you work hard, you can graduate in four years with a diploma and a two year college degree!
