Students who wish to bring a guest who does NOT attend Conant High School must complete a Guest Form (available from Mrs. Ardell Office 101) prior to purchasing a Guest Ticket. The guest form requires the signature of the Conant student and essential guest emergency contact information.. All guests will enter the dance through a guest line accompanied by their hosting student. Only current high school students are permitted as guests to our Homecoming dance. Guests not currently enrolled in high school must be approved by Mrs. Ardell or Mr. Marks, no guests 21 years of age or older or middle school students will be allowed.

Bag Check/ Bag Search:
Volunteers from the Conant Boosters will be sponsoring a coat/bag check available to all students. This service would be available for students checking coats, jackets, small bags or large bags. All school behavior expectations will be followed by all students. Students are responsible for their guests as well. Students with prohibited items will face behavioral consequences.

Refreshments:
During the Homecoming Dance, water, lemonade, and light snacks will be available free of charge to all students and guests. Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria throughout the evening of the event.
Student Re-Entry:
Once students enter the dance, they must remain in the dance or concessions area. Students who leave the dance will not be readmitted.
Dance Attire:
The Homecoming dance is a semi-formal dance. Students have traditionally worn dress pants/ties and dresses to the dance. Jeans are not an appropriate form of attire for the dance. Due to the dance being outside, we ask students to be mindful of the weather and dress accordingly. Students will be dancing on a concrete surface; comfortable footwear for dancing is encouraged. Students concerned about wearing dress shoes in the parking lot should plan to bring an additional set of comfortable shoes to wear while dancing.
Behavioral Expectations:
At Conant, our CORE Values—Community, Ownership, Respect, and Resourcefulness—guide how we act at school events. At the dance, students are expected to help create a safe and fun community by following all school rules. Showing respect means treating others kindly and dancing appropriately—no grinding or pushing in the crowd. Taking ownership of your choices is important; students who do not meet expectations may be asked to leave without a refund, and future dance attendance may be affected. By practicing resourcefulness, we can all help make the dance an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Exit Procedures:
Students will exit via door 25. If the Coat/Bag check was used, you may exit through the coat check as well.
