Dr. Hannigan was excited to introduce Ms. Maggie Kirst as the new Building Assistant Supervisor at Dual Language! Following a thoughtful and collaborative selection process, Maggie was chosen for her exceptional leadership qualities and her unwavering dedication to our students, families, and staff. With years of experience as a Learning Behavior Specialist and a deep commitment to our school community, Ms. Kirst is excited to continue embracing the goals of the Dual Language program and to further support our shared mission of fostering bilingualism and biliteracy for all students.

We are thrilled to officially welcome Ms. Stephanie Peters as the newest elected member of the Hawthorn District 73 Board of Education!


Over the past year, Stephanie has been an incredible asset as part of our Site and Facilities Committee, bringing dedication, insight, and a collaborative spirit to everything she does. We are so excited to continue the important work ahead with her now serving in this new leadership role.

It was unanimously decided that Julie Clifford will serve as the Board Secretary of the Hawthorn Board of Education
