We are exciting to be starting a new series--Kings and Prophets! In this series, kids will discover what it means for God to be the only true God and how He invites them to follow and respond to Him. Through the stories of kings and prophets, they will see how God is in charge and that He is the one who is always with us.

Series Lesson: The Rise and Fall of Saul

Bible Passage: 1 Samuel 8–10; 13; 15

Wonder Truth: God is in charge.

God's Big Story: Instead of trusting God to be in charge, the Israelites ask for a king. God grants their request, and Saul becomes king. When Saul’s heart turns away from God, God removes the kingdom from him.

Early Childhood Key Question: Who can follow God? I can follow God!
