Happy New Year! Happy New Year!

by Logan Korth

Dryden Junior/Senior High School students shared their thoughts about the new year. Here is what they said:

  • Ian Weier, 10th grade: Hopefully this year is better. I started with Covid but I’m still fighting in this. Let this be the best year out of the last couple of years. I don’t have any goals, I just hope I don’t get sick again and hope my family, friends and staff from school are safe.
  • Chloe DeLoy, 8th grade: I’m looking forward to being done with 2021 and having a (hopefully) better 2022. I haven’t really made any goals for this year yet.
  • Brooke Dombrowski, 7th grade: I'm excited about Mega con in Orlando Florida. I feel excited because I will be able to meet my cousin again and see my online friend. :) My goals for this year are Comic-con, cosplay improvements (upgrades and making more), and why not school.
  • Logan Korth, 7th grade: Normally, I'm optimistic, but I feel like things will continue to be crazy but I know that a positive attitude is necessary during these tough times. Hoping this year is a fresh start! I am planning to clean out our pole barn, replant our garden, go dirt biking, and sled on the giant sledding hill on Casey road! (Letting out some inside knowledge) My main goal is to stay positive during these times, and do the right thing!
  • Raghan Delong, 7th grade: I'm looking forward to a new year, getting a foreign exchange student, letting toxic people go, and starting fresh. I'm hoping to get my grades up. and what I'm not hyped about is that I miss my uncle and wish that I could bring him back. On January 6th I'm going to the airport to get our foreign exchange student, then I think after we're out of school for summer we're going to Florida to show our foreign exchange student some of America!

Thank you to everyone who responded!
