A Message From the Principals A Message From the Principals

Barrington Families,

What a beautiful fall season we’ve been enjoying! We’ve been so fortunate to have such wonderful weather, and we hope your family has had opportunities to get outside and enjoy it!

We have a short but busy week ahead, with no school on Monday (Teacher Work Day) and Early Release on Thursday at 11:00 AM.

Our staff is looking forward to connecting with families during parent-teacher conferences! This is such a meaningful opportunity to celebrate your child’s growth, share their successes, and continue strengthening our home-school partnership. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to confirm your scheduled conference date and time with your child’s teacher.

Here are a few reminders of what’s coming up:

  • Thursday, October 22: Early Release: Students will be dismissed at 11:00 AM. No lunch will be served.

  • Thursday, October 22 : PACK Day: Our Bobcats will gather with their PACK groups! Please have your child wear their Barrington T-shirt to show their Bobcat pride!

  • Friday, October 30 : Annual Harvest Parade: One of our favorite fall traditions is right around the corner! Be sure to check out the details below.

We look forward to a wonderful week of connecting, celebrating, and continuing to grow together as one Bobcat community!

Enjoy the weekend!

Digital safety presentation and permission form for grades 3-5

As part of our upcoming Safety Week, Barrington Elementary School students in grades 3-5 will have the opportunity to attend digital safety presentations with expert Jesse Weinberger at the UAHS Performing Arts Center. She will provide age-appropriate presentations for students in grades 3-6 focused on digital citizenship, responsible technology use, online decision-making, and personal safety. Election Day Bake Sale

Calling all bakers, shoppers and generous community members! We are gearing up for Election Day on Tuesday, November 3, 2026! Each year we host a bake sale in the Barrington cafeteria to raise money for the PTO.

We need baked goods, snack donations, financial donations (we can shop for you!) and parent/student volunteers to sell the treats. There will be no school that day, so we strongly encourage your elementary students to join the fun and work the table, practicing their math skills and engaging with our community members.
