All About Brazil with Ms. DaSilva
Third graders gathered in the Auditorium on Friday afternoon to learn about Brazil and the wonderful culture first-hand from Ms. DaSilva, one of our amazing Bellows' Teaching Assistants. This presentation is connected to their unit on Brazil in Social Studies and their current Panther Project about Brazil.
2026 K-5 Art Show
Bellows hosted the annual K-5 Art Show this week and it was again, another well attended and amazing community event! There was plenty of student artwork on display as classes from both Daniel Warren and Bellows visited during the school day and on Wednesday evening, families packed the Auditorium to celebrate with their children and loved ones.
Thank you to Ms. Goodman and Ms. Appel for planning and organizing this truly special event for students and families.
5th Grade Earthquake Table Build Challenge
Funded by the PTSA, Makinspires hosted an Earthquake Table Build Challenge workshop for 5th graders. Students learned about the importance of structures and forces in designing some of the tallest buildings in the world. They had the opportunity to build their own towers and test their designs using their very own earthquake shake tables. Students visited the Library on Thursday and Friday this week during their Enrichment period for this hands on learning experience.
Thank you to Ms. Trotta for working with the fifth grade team and the PTSA to bring this opportunity to our students as they close out their learning in elementary school Science.
